So you ride the train to Milan and then navigate the concrete labyrinth of the metro station so you can take another train into the historical center of Milan. You emerge to a piazza where you’re greeted by this gorgeous monolith and suddenly you are filled with regret for not planning more than one fully booked afternoon in Milan.
